Unforgettable Moments: Beacon's Adventures at CES

Beacon COO Susie Spigelman presenting the company's illness-preventing technology

CES is marketed as a thrilling spectacle, and this year's show lived up to the hype. Held in Las Vegas, 141,000 attendees from across the globe experienced the excitement of product reveals, presentations, and innovation as far as the eyes could see. The Beacon team dove into the vibrant atmosphere, leaving with unforgettable experiences and inspiring discoveries.

Introducing Beacon's Cutting-Edge Technology

While exploring the extensive exhibit halls, we were struck by the impressive scale of innovation on display. Companies showcased everything from smart home gadgets to revolutionary health tech. It was an honor to have Beacon represented amongst the most innovative technologies in the world. We introduced our proprietary germ-fighting technology to the masses, and were delighted by attendee feedback wishing that Beacon could be installed "at every single booth at CES."

Key Questions from Brian Clark, Beacon's CEO

I witnessed three emerging themes at CES, all of which left me asking some big questions:

  1. AI for All: The promise of AI is outpaced only by people marketing the promise of AI. Sure enough, it was infused into every corner of CES. It's clear AI is having its moment, but what will the long-term impact be? My prediction: up to 80% of the technologies claiming to use AI won’t move the needle. The other 20%, however, will change our lives as we know it.
  2. Is it Real? CES is the pinnacle of hype. A flying car that you store in the back of your driving car? An AI coffee maker? The bounds of imagination are always stretched, but the question remains: Which of these products actually solve problems that consumers are willing to spend money on? Time shall tell.
  3. Consumer-Business Convergence: Who is CES for? While CES was originally intended for consumers, the amount of B2B action was extraordinary: from supply chain, to distribution, to partners and more, the conference isn't just for end customers - it's for anyone seeking to learn about the implication of cutting edge technologies and opportunities abound

An Unforgettable Night with Beacon's COO, Susie Spigelman

Without a doubt, my CES highlight was presenting at AARP’s AgeTech After Dark pitch competition. This was a pitch unlike any other: With a time limit of just three minutes, I spoke about how Beacon helps reduce illness spread in hospitals and nursing homes, which can help keep senior populations healthy. The competition was held during a cocktail party at Lavo, making for a fun and lively experience, complete with cheers and shouts–plus a very unique pitch recap. You’ll want to check it out here!

Beacon's CPO Andrea Clark Introduces Beacon to the Masses

Attending CES for the first time was an unforgettable experience, showcasing groundbreaking innovations from around the globe. We spoke to people from around the world about how Beacon's technology will revolutionize disinfection. We sparked conversations with biologists and health experts on how Far-UVC works, and talked with self-proclaimed germaphobes, many of whom were unfamiliar with Far-UVC light and the specific benefits of its 222nm wavelength, all of whom were amazed by its potential.

Introducing our groundbreaking technology to open-minded attendees was an exciting opportunity to advocate for cleaner, more effective and safe disinfection solutions.

As public health and environmental concerns grow, the cutting-edge disinfection technology we presented at CES 2025 stands ready to make a lasting impact. By bridging the gaps between science, safety, and daily life, Beacon can pave the way for a healthier, more sustainable future.

A Journey Full of Possibilities

Beacon's adventures at CES were filled with remarkable moments, innovative breakthroughs, and significant connections. From exploring cutting-edge technologies to celebrating the strength of the industry, our experience was truly memorable.

We can't wait for CES 2026!
